SAPERSTEIN SCHOLARSHIP FUND ANNOUNCES 13th GOLF OUTING
The Bert Saperstein Communication Scholarship Fund, a 24 year old IRS and NYS approved, not for profit Westchester charity, announced it will hold its annual Golf Outing/Fund Raiser on Tuesday, September 18th at BONNIE BRIAR COUNTRY CLUB, Larchmont, NY. Registration begins at 10:30AM.
This popular event offers breakfast, cookout lunch, beverage cart, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and 18 holes of golf on one of Westchester’s premier courses. Contests include hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive and a $10,000 putting round robin. Prizes and trophies for low gross and low net – A & B Flights; silent auctions; and a loaded raffle cap off a great day. Entry fee is $300.00.
All donations are tax deductible. The proceeds from the Bert Saperstein Communication Scholarship Fund Golf Outing go toward scholarships for New York area needy and deserving students pursuing degrees in the communication fields.
Last year the BSCSF awarded eight scholarships to students at CCNY (3), SUNY (2-Oneonta & Albany), LaSalle University, Western Connecticut State University and Colorado State University. In the past they have students displaced by the Hurricane Katrina disaster and children of police, firefighters and EMS members lost on 9/11.
