To kick off a new season of the monthly series “Celebrating Women Filmmakers”, on Tuesday, October 11 the Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) presents filmmaker Barbara Kopple with her Academy Award—winning documentary, Harlan County, U.S.A.
After the screening, Kopple will discuss her 1976 film with New York Times critic and JBFC Board President Janet Maslin. Tickets are $8 members, $12 nonmembers.
