Here's the Scoop will hold the first ever "Scoops for Local Groups" fundraising evening. Scoops for Local Groups is a series of events, held once or twice a month, designed to support community organizations by donating 20% of all sales between the hours of 5:00 pm and closing on the night of the event. To broaden the appeal, a "celebrity scooper" from the charity organization will be on hand to serve ice cream.
The beneficiary of the June 5th series premiere, in light of the defeat of the school budget, will be the Tuckahoe School District. This event is not to be missed, as Cottle's very own principal, Mr. Anthony DiCarlo, will be on hand, sleeves rolled up, to scoop ice cream for his students.
