In conjunction with National Trails Day, Teatown Lake Reservation will host Community Trail Day. Teatown Environmental Educator/Water Quality Coordinator Beth Rhines will lead an Introduction to Trail Maintenance Workshop followed by a Trail Maintenance Project. The Workshop will cover the basics of trail maintenance including the importance of trail preservation, tools and techniques, and basic tree identification. The Project will put these techniques to use as volunteers get grouped and assigned a specific trail and project to tackle. Wear hiking boots and bring water. Lunch will be served. FREE. Teatown Lake Reservation, 1600 Spring Valley Road, Ossining.
