This event, sponsored by Pace University, will feature a socialized wolf from a wolf preservation organization in Westchester. Members will present wolves to the general public not as mythical and dangerous creatures to be feared, but as the beautiful and wild predators that they really are. The event will examine the benefits of natural predators to ecosystems and the value of wolves as a species. It will outline the history of the wolf species in this area, including why and how the species has virtually been lost to the region and the negative effects this has had on the overall ecosystem.
