Due to a winter storm watch in effect the weekend of Feb. 11, the basketball benefit between the world-renowned Harlem MagicMasters and Kennedy Catholic Gaels All-Stars basketball fundraiser has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18.
The times have also changed, as the event will now begin at 6 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m. The game will take place at Kennedy Catholic High School, 54 Route 138 in Somers, N.Y.
Tickets are still $10 per person, and can be reserved all next week by calling Donna O’Connell at (914) 232-8351 or e-mailing donnaoc8@verizon.net. Tickets will also be available at the door, and Kennedy’s student-athletes will continue to sell up until Friday, Feb. 17.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the addition of a second scoreboard in the Monsignor Boyle Gymnasium, along with new uniforms and equipment for the school’s men and women’s sports programs. The evening will include a spectacular halftime show, complete with tricks, games and giveaways, along with a 50-50 raffle and door prizes for more ways Kennedy supporters can win.
