This is a forum to improve air quality in the NY Metropolitan region. This conference will educate attendees on the health, economic and environmental benefits of using cleaner burning diesel fuel, and retrofit technology in order to decrease diesel pollution, thereby improving public health.
This conference targets policy makers such as legislators, municipal officials and county executives, but others are encouraged to attend including property managers, business and health professionals and concerned citizens.
We will focus on real-world, achievable solutions that currently exist to cut diesel pollution by up to 90%.
These solutions will improve public health, especially children and the elderly, who are the most susceptible to such ailments as aggravated asthma, heart and lung disease and even premature death.
The conference will be held at Pace Law School in White Plains, NY 10603 in the Tudor room.
