Rye, NY (June 24, 2008) – Join us on July 19th to Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer with a FREE photo
session and 5X7 print of your pet in exchange for a donation of a bag of dog or cat food to benefit
the animals at The Westchester Shore Humane Society and Retired Greyhounds as Pets (REGAP)
of Connecticut.
Westchester Shore Human Society provides a compassionate and healthy environment for homeless animals
while preparing them for adoption into permanent loving homes. The Humane Society strives to promote
responsible pet ownership and reduce the suffering caused by pet overpopulation and animal cruelty
by offering low cost spay/neuter solutions and education.
REGAP’s mission is to educate the public about the plight of racing Greyhounds, their suitability as
companion animals, and to find permanent homes for those lucky enough to enter the rescue community
Pet Photo sessions will be held from 10 AM to 6 PM at The Photography by Aida Krgin studio,
68 Purchase Street in Rye. Appointments are necessary. For more information or to schedule a
