Abacus is the tool which aids faster computation
using certain set rules and methods. With aid of
visualization, perception and memory, one's brain will
be trained to work like the abacus. This method is used
with most kids in Asia and by nature Asian kids are more
superior in Math skills as proven by statistics and reserach.
Why Learn "Abacus & Mental-Arithmetic?"
Our brain can be divided into 2 halves:
* The Left Brain which is responsible for speech,
writing, calculating, thinking, reasoning & judgment.
The right hemisphere is responsible for imagination,
visualization, perceptual or spatial skills,
creativity, intuition, inventiveness.
*Abacus & Mental-Arithmetic method involves a
combination of thinking and visualization. One needs
to use one's attention power as well as memory power.
This requires the coordination of both the Left Brain
and Right Brain.
