The Marsh Sanctuary is hosting an afternoon of Latin music and food.
The event is open to the general public with no cover charge.
The David Markowitz Latin Jazz Quintet will be performing instrumental jazz ranging from "Bésame Mucho" to boleros to Shakira songs.
Batutera will be playing salsa music from their "new mind-bending musical en espanol." We welcome them back after last year's spectacular performance at the Amphitheater.
Prepare as for a picnic, the amphitheater is OLD and covered in moss, you may want to bring an old blanket to hang out on.
Traditional and Latin-inspired dishes and drinks will be available for purchase. We are working with local restuarants and specialty food markets to provide AUTHENTIC dishes. Standard BBQ fare will also be available.
We anticipate a good turnout for this event as flyers are posted in PUBLIC places.
As always, parking will be limited at the Brookside Parking area.
If possible, plan on parking at the Field Parking area on Sarles Street. If you are unclear on this location, mapquest "71 Sarles Street Mount Kisco, NY" - this should bring you to the approximate location. Signs will be posted to lead you to the parking area and then walk along the marked trail.
