The Youth of Grace Lutheran Church in Yorktown Heights are “pumped up” about PlayPumps! They have set a goal to raise $7,000 towards a PlayPump to be constructed in a village in Africa which will provide clean, convenient drinking water to as many as 2,500 villagers.
A KIDS-ONLY TAG SALE will be held on Saturday, May 24 from 9am to 4pm. The PlayPump motto is “Kids Play, Water Pumps”, so everything for sale will be kids-oriented. There will be great bargains on toys and games, children’s books, music CDs, DVDs, video games, educational and game software, musical instruments, sports and recreation equipment, bicycles and ride-on toys, baby items and furniture and outdoor play equipment, plus much more. Gently-used clothing for infants through teens will also be on sale.
Enjoy free coffee, tea or juice and select some homebaked treats from the bake sale table. Learn about PlayPumps, pick up some great bargains on items for your children, and support a good cause!
