A birding hot spot, the Ramble in Central Park is a 38 acre “wild garden” of rocky outcrops, secluded glades and a tumbling stream that make it an ideal stopover for bird species migrating along the Atlantic Flyway.Bring binoculars and wear comfortable walking shoes. Carpooling from Teatown may be necessary. Free, a minimal charge may be collected for gas and tolls. Join Charlie Roberto, expert naturalist and Teatown trustee, on this program which is open to adults and children accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required.
