LECTURE The Return of Political Theology Mark Lilla Thursday, May 1 5:30 p.m. Titsworth Lecture Hall FREE Mark Lilla, Professor of the Humanities at Columbia University, will give a lecture called “The Return of Political Theology: Religion and Politics at the Outset of the 21st Century.” Lilla authored The Reckless Mind: Intellectuals in Politics and The Stillborn God: Religion, Politics, and the Modern West, and has contributed to the New York Review of Books, the New Republic, and The New York Times. He lectures widely and has delivered the Weizmann Memorial Lecture in Israel and the Carlyle Lectures at Oxford University.
