This
event is held to offer recognition to individuals, organizations and
businesses who have given outstanding support to Support
Connection,
and to pay tribute to people whose lives have provided inspiration to
others. The 2008 honorees are: Beacon
of Light Award:
Savo Fries; Humanitarian of the Year: Barry Levin; Spirit
of Giving Award:
Micki Liebman; Spirit
of Hope Awards:
Chun Kim-Levin, Judith Leger and Gwen Harding-Peets. Honorary
chairperson is Kacey Morabito, from 100.7 WHUD Radio’s Mike
and Kacey in the Morning.
The
event will begin with a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres,
followed by dinner and dancing to live music. There will also be a
silent auction and raffle. Proceeds will benefit Support Connection’s
free support services and programs for people affected by breast and
ovarian cancer. Tickets:
