Temple Israel Center of White Plains (280 Old Mamaroneck Rd.) will be hosting a theological symposium on January 13th from 10 AM to 4 PM. This is a major symposium that will explore the defining elements of Jewish belief and addresses the question, "What can the future of Conservative Judaism look like?" The Symposium is entitled "God, Torah & Israel" and will consist of a full day of learning and high energy dialogue with several leading-edge, well-respected thinkers and scholars in the Conservative movement: Dr. Michael Berenbaum, Dr. Judith Hauptman, and Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg.
