Hello,
I am a police officer from the state of MASS. I have bow hunted NY for close to 10 years with my hunting partner whom is my SGT. We are looking for any deer hunting land in Westchester. We have in the past done odd jobs for land owners for the right to hunt their property for deer. We have done jobs ranging from painting to yard work or carpentry. We have had very good luck doing this in the past. We are SAFE ethical hunters. First animal harvested will be offered to land owner. Hunting land must have good deer population. We would like to complete jobs during off season. But will work with land owners at their request. It's Buckwild again,
I was wondering if someone could tell me why no would be interested in my offer? From what I understand your area is over run by deer and they cause alot for damage to your area. Why wouldn't you want the herd thinnd down? Please I dont want to hear the ANTI remarks. I have heard them all. I am not trying to push my beliefs or ways on anyone. I am not asking this to make anyone angry. Just curious is all. It is liablity??? Is it lack of knowledge? Is it because I am a non resident???
As far as the liablity there is none on a land owner. The are not responsiable for injuries and claims as long as they dont charge the hunter a fee. New york state law takes that off the land owner......
Did I also mention The first deer harvest on owners land would be given to owner????
