I thought Pirates of the Caribbean 3 was pretty good, regardless of what the critics said. yes, it was long (almost 3 hours long) but you certainly felt you got your money's worth. Sometimes you go to a movie and know your $10 was well-spent. All the special effects, shipsailing scenes, and the huge battle sequence at the end. You know it cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make and it was all pretty spectacular to watch. Even at 3 hours long, there was rarely a dull moment. Johnny Depp is great as Capt. Jask Sparrow and I am glad to hear he's willing to consider more Pirates movies in the future. The movie definitely ended on the right note, allowing the good Captain to return for more adventures.

I have yet to see Spiderman 3 or Shrek 3, both of which did not get good reviews by critics. I'm sure Spiderman 3 had some excellent fight sequences, but I'd not be surprised if Shrek 3 is losing its touch.
