Valhalla, NY - Westchester Community College is presenting its Poets and Writers Series this spring, inviting the best of today’s writers to share their secrets with literary aficionados.

Steve Kluger will read from his work on Tuesday, February 14 at 12:30 and again at 2:00 p.m. The event in the Classroom Building, Room 200 is free and open to the public.

Kluger is the Lambda Award winning author of Almost Like Being in Love, a must-read novel for anyone who's wondered whatever happened to that first great love. A novelist and playwright, Kluger grew up during the Sixties with only two heroes: baseball star Tom Seaver and stage and screen star Ethel Merman. He has written extensively on subjects as far-ranging as World War II, rock and roll, and the Titanic, and as close to his heart as baseball. He donates much of his time to a variety of non-profit organizations and also counsels gay teenagers.
