Sleepy Hollow, NY - Phelps Memorial Hospital Center's Healthy Life series continues to offer the community a wide range of programs on health-related subjects as well as numerous health screenings and support groups.

All events take place on the Phelps campus, 701 N. Broadway in Sleepy Hollow. The programs are free, unless otherwise noted. The Phelps Healthy Life Calendar for January and February follows:

Wednesday, January 4 and 18 - Blood Pressure Screenings are offered the first and third Wednesdays of every month at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center from 9:30 am - 11:30 am. Screenings are free, but appointments are required. Call (914) 366-3220 to register.

Thursdays, January 5 and 19 - Evening Bereavement Support Groups are held on the first and third Thursday of the month from 6:30 - 8 pm at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. Monday, January 9 - Look Good . . . Feel Better This free program teaches beauty techniques to women going through cancer treatment to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of their treatment. Makeup kits donated by cosmetic companies are given to each participant to take home. The program is offered in partnership with the American Cancer Society, The National Cosmetology Association, and the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CTFA) Foundation. Thursday, January 12 - Breakfast Club Presented by Phelps Memorial Hospital and Community Helping Hands, the Breakfast Club meets monthly and is especially designed for senior citizens.
