Yonkers Plumbing Inspector Arrested For Bribe Solicitation
White Plains, NY - The Westchester County District Attorney's office announced that Peter Daliso, 58, of Ardsley, New York, was arraigned on a Felony Complaint charging him with one count of Bribe Receiving.
The plumber contacted the District Attorneys office and an investigation was initiated.
After arranging to meet the following day, the defendant accepted $100 in United States Currency from the plumber in exchange for the defendant’s promise that he would file appropriate plumbing permit with the City of Yonkers Building Department.
The defendant was subsequently arrested by investigators from the District Attorneys Office and charged.
The defendant was remanded pending a bail application hearing in Yonkers City Court.
The defendant faces a maximum of seven years in state prison.
Assistant District Attorney Brian Conway, Deputy Chief of the Public Integrity Bureau, is prosecuting the case.
