White Plains, NY - Although it’s still winter, now is the time most parents start researching summer camps for their children. So the WJCS Autism Family Center has published its 2012 Camp Guide.

“Finding the right placement that will give a child a fun and memorable experience can be an arduous task,” says Bonnie Graham, Center Director. “For parents whose children are on the autism spectrum, it can be an overwhelming undertaking fraught with emotion. To help ease the process, we have done a lot of research putting together this Guide.”

Available at www.wjcs.com/CampGuide12, the Guide not only includes info about various camps for children with special needs but also links to useful information ranging from dealing with separation anxiety to finding the right camp placement.

Staffed by a highly experienced professional team, the WJCS Autism Family Center offers comprehensive services for children and adults on the autism spectrum and their families.
