Planning Your Spring Vegetable Garden – Saturday, February 11, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
An afternoon workshop that will demystify the gardening planning process for new gardeners and enhance the growing experience for more expert gardeners. Fee $20; advance online registration required at www.hilltophanoverfarm.org.
Spin and Knit In – Saturday, February 18, 11 a.m. -1 p.m.
Seasoned spinners and knitters can gather in an informal atmosphere to meet new friends and share ideas, tips and spinning stories. No registration required.
Kids Farm Craft: Birds, Seeds and Feeders – Saturday, February 18, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Learn about native birds, the food they love and make a bird feeder. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for children 4 years and up. Fee $5 per child; online registration required at www.hilltophanoverfarm.org
Westchester Community College Continuing Education Certificate in Sustainable Vegetable Production at Hilltop Hanover Farm
If you’re interested in becoming a vegetable farmer, have a passion for sustainable agriculture, or simply want to improve your own produce growing skills, this exciting new program is for you. This certificate curriculum will prepare those who wish to develop agricultural and entrepreneurial skills, as well as those wishing to enhance their knowledge of vegetable production.
