Bronxville, NY - It’s a wine lovers dream.  Park 143 Bistro is teaming up with J. Lohr Vineyard & Wines to present a five course dinner exclusively featuring the elegant wines of the award-winning winery.

This special wine-pairing dinner is set for Tuesday, November 13 beginning at 7:00 pm.

J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines crafts a delicious array of acclaimed wines from its estate vineyards in Monterey County, Paso Robles and Napa Valley.  Executive Chef Jason Holmberg has created a menu that perfectly pairs and showcases select offerings of theses flavourful J. Lohr wines.

The menu begins with a salad curdo of haricot vert, red peppers and Nicoise olives paired with J. Lohr Estate “Wildflower” Valdiquie‘.  Next comes a delicious grilled tiger shrimp with vanilla parsnip puree, with carmelized oranges, fennel and citrus dust with J. Lohr Estate “Riverstone” Chardonnay.  The well-crafted meal continues with Wild Striped Bass with pickled vegetables, onion meringues and turnip puree paired with J’Lohr “Fog’s Reach” Pinot Noir.  It continues with chicken rollatini with sage, gruyere, prosciutto and wild mushroom puree partnered with J’ Lohr Estate “ South Ridge” Syrah.  The meal concludes with a dessert duo of double chocolate cream puff and lemon meringue served with a “Late Harvest” White Riesling.

This is the first wine dinner for the newly opened Park 143 Bistro.  Owner Wayne Chessler is excited to be showcasing Executive Chef Jason Holmberg’s talents and eclectic variety of dishes paired with the finest quality wines from the J.Lohr Estate Vineyard.
