Business Council Announces Executive Committee Appointment
White Plains, NY - The Business Council of Westchester (BCW) recently appointed Ken Theobalds, Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs for Entergy Nuclear, to its Executive Committee.
“When I was asked to join the Executive Committee, I was grateful to be asked to make an additional contribution. We have some unique opportunities before us to foster economic development and prosperity here in Westchester,” Theobalds said. “I’m happy to do any part that I can on behalf of Entergy and the people I represent who live and work here.”
Prior to Entergy, Theobalds was a former Assistant Secretary to Governor Mario M. Cuomo, and Congressional Staff Assistant to Manhattan Congressman Bill Green who represented the East Side district in the House for 10 years.
“Ken has more than 20 years of experience in government affairs, legislative relations and public policy,” said Business Council of Westchester President/CEO Dr. Marsha Gordon. “His vast knowledge of government and policy will bring tremendous value to the Business Council as we continuously expand the growth opportunities and advocacy services we offer our members.”
“We’re grateful to have a talented individual like Ken join our Executive Committee,” said The Business Council’s Board Chairman Stephen Jones. “At the Business Council it’s our role to help advocate for policy that will help bolster the economy here in Westchester and I’m confident that with Ken on the Executive Committee we can continue to make strong, positive changes for business.”
Theobalds earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and is a graduate of the Entergy Executive Program. He lives in New Rochelle with his wife Lori and two children.
