Port Chester, NY - Port Chester Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre has appointed Stephen Carey, of Cold Spring, as the new administrator of the highly regarded facility.

A seasoned executive and licensed nursing home administrator, Mr. Carey comes to the Port Chester facility with 25 years of management experience.  Previously, he was the administrator of Elant at Wappingers Falls and has held executive positions with a number of community service organizations.

Mr. Carey received both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor's degree from Columbia University along with a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University.

In addition, Mr. Carey is the recipient of a wide range of community service awards including the New York City Council Dale/Hale Community Service Award, the New York State Governor's Initiative for Volunteer Excellence (GIVE) Award, the Department of Health and Human Services Federal Community Service Act Award and the American Society for Public Administration Public Service Award.
