Holiday Hosting Tips
- Call your local Morton’s sales & marketing manager and let us take care of the details. (How could I not mention this?!)
- If entertaining at home I start at all recipies.com. You can create an event, pick a menu, automatically change the recipes to how many guests you are having and have a grocery list generated for you from all the recipes you are using from the site. It doesn’t get easier than that.
(Unless you use tip #1)

A couple months ago a friend introduced me to a new cocktail, St Germain, prosecco and club soda. It is an unusual and refreshing summer sipper. St. Germaine is an elder flower liquor. When mixed with the prosecco and soda it tastes like a fizzy flower. It has been floating around in my head what food to pair with it. I have decided on one of my favorite items from Morton’s menu, crab cakes. Originally I was going to prepare them at home with Morton’s recipe but it’s hot, so I invited a friend over to the Morton’s in White Plains to help me decide if it was the right pairing.
Cocktail
1/3 St. Germaine

I love to have a cup of coffee and a little something sweet. Today I made coconut scones. I found a basic scone recipe a couple of months ago and it is so easy to adapt. I have made lemon, peanut butter & chocolate and today coconut. Here is the basic recipe for a plain scone.

Currently I am enjoying my 11th year as Sales & Marketing Manager for Morton's The Steakhouse in White Plains, assisting guests in planning memorable and delicious events.
