Cross County Parkway Closures During Pope's Visit |

 White Plains, NY - Much of the Cross County Parkway will be closed in both directions on Saturday, April 19 when Pope Benedict XVI visits St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers.
There likely will be some traffic delays elsewhere in the county due to the spillover of traffic onto other roads.
The following closures will be in effect:
At 8 a.m., one lane of the eastbound Cross County Parkway will be closed from Yonkers Avenue to Seminary Avenue.
At 2 p.m., all eastbound lanes of the Cross County Parkway will be closed between the Saw Mill River Parkway and Interstate 87/Central Park Avenue.
At 3 p.m., all westbound lanes of the Cross County Parkway will be closed from Interstate 87/Central Park Avenue to the Saw Mill River Parkway.
The closures will be in effect until 8 p.m.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
