 Yonkers, NY - Don't worry if you can't make it to the pool this summer, the Yonkers Parks Department will bring the pool to you! Mayor Phil Amicone and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation are pleased to announce the Roving "Play & Swim" Program.
The program's unique Swim Mobile, a portable swimming pool, will be stopping at neighborhood playgrounds throughout Yonkers through Friday, August 15.

"The Mobile Swim Program is a great way for neighborhood kids to cool off this summer," said Mayor Amicone. "It is just one of the many services available through the Park's Department to make for a fun and enjoyable summer season."
In addition to the Mobile Swim Program, the Park's Department offers other special city-wide events. The CHILL-OUT PASS, available for free by calling the Park's Department at (914) 377-6441, offers admission into four entertaining activities for young people, ages seven to fourteen. The events feature the Summer Movie Theater, Roller Skating Party, Roller Disco and Barbeque. Event dates and details follow.
