Mt. Kisco, NY - Due to a planned capital improvement project, Saxon Woods Golf Course in Scarsdale will offer a modified golf game from Monday, October 19, through Sunday, November 15.
Nine holes will remain open and golfers can simply play the nine or play through a second time for a full 18-hole game.
Greens fees will be reduced during this period to a weekend rate of $25 for 18 holes with a Westchester County Park Pass; $35 without the pass. Nine-hole weekend rate will be $14 with the pass and $18 without. Weekday rates are $21 for 18 holes and $9 for 9 holes with the pass; $30 for 18 holes and $17 for 9 holes without the pass. Twilight rate is $10 for up to 18 holes with the pass and $15 for up to 18 holes without.
For Senior Park Pass and Junior Park Pass holders the rate is $9 for up to 18 holes; for non park pass holders the rate is $17 for up to 18 holes.
The renewal project will include construction, drainage and irrigation work on the fairways as well as improvements to the cart paths. The project is part of the county’s ongoing initiative to maintain the course at the highest possible level of play. The course will close after November 15 for the season. The renovation is expected to be completed by the spring of 2010.
The course is located on Mamaroneck Road, exit 22 off the Hutchinson Parkway, in Scarsdale.
