White Plains, NY – The 38th annual Turkey Bowl Game between the two White Plains rival varsity football teams will be played at Glenn D. Loucks Stadium, White Plains High School, at 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 27.
Since it started 38 years ago, the Turkey Bowl Game—an annual Thanksgiving Day tradition—had been played at the stadium at the White Plains Middle School Highlands Campus at 128 Grandview Avenue.
Mike O’Donnell, coach of Stepinac High School’s Crusaders football team, said: “In order to accommodate the large crowd that attends the annual match-up between the two cross-town rival teams, both schools decided and agreed that the game should be moved to White Plains High School’s new stadium.”
Founded in 1948, Archbishop Stepinac High School’s mission is to offer young men a highly competitive academic and extracurricular program that will prepare them for college and leadership roles.
