White Plains, NY - The WJCS Senior Program in Mt. Vernon is offering several programs in May.
Free movies at noon on Mondays:
--May 5 Midnight Run
--May 12 Ocean's 13
--May 19 Away From Her
May 1 at 12:30PM -- Speaker Joanne Davis, of Beth Abraham Health Services, will discuss vision changes due to aging.
May 7 -- Trip to Lehman College for a Big Band Concert. $5 fee for van. Advance registration required. Departure time to be announced.
May 8 at 11:30 AM -- Visit from UJA with special Celebrity Guest Charles Grodin.
1:00 PM -- Doug Leblang, Musical Performance for Israel Independence Day.
May 22 at 12:30 PM -- Medicare Minute, a discussion with a trained volunteer from Medicare Rights Center.
May 28 -- Senior Health & Fitness Day activities include yoga and Lunch & Learn w/ Rabbi Barzilai with a special lunch.
Crafts with Evelyn forsix weekly sessions runs from May 14 – June 18 at 9:30 AM. Cost is $1 per class.
