Yonkers Native Takes Engineering To Extreme |

Yonkers, NY - Richard Linares, a Yonkers native and senior aerospace engineering major at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, was named the top of the top participants recently in the Extreme Engineering Challenge competition at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) Conference in Phoenix.
His team – which also placed first as a team -- and seven others had 24 hours to design a water supply system that could be used in impoverished areas of Latin America.
