Westchester School & Education NewsValhalla, NY - As part of Westchester Community College’s “Year of Diversity,” the institution has created the Dr. Ford Teaching Fellowship Program, an initiative to further diversify the faculty.

Under this fellowship program, fellows will serve as members of the adjunct faculty in addition to receiving mentoring and training from current full-time faculty members. The following are in the first cohort of fellows who will be participating in the fellowship program in the fall:

Tanae Franklin (New Rochelle).
Juan Soria (Sleepy Hollow).
Dexter Gittens (Norwalk, CT).
Maria Kurthy-Sanger (Harrison).
John Watkins (Congers).
Nancy Lopes (Nyack).
Valerie Mathews (Upper Nyack).
