 White Plains, NY - Prudential Rand Realty has appointed Sandra Summer-Parks as Training Director, Westchester Division.
In her new role, Summer-Parks will develop and lead Westchester-specific training programs for Prudential Rand new hires in Westchester County. These multi-level programs will be completed over the course of one year, and will focus on developing Realtor skills and increasing client service. Summer-Parks will also assist with new-hire training in Orange and Rockland counties.
“Sandra is the ideal person to mentor our new Sales Associates,” said Greg Rand, managing partner with Prudential Rand Realty. “She has a tremendous level of enthusiasm, strong leadership skills and vast knowledge of the industry. Training is one of our top priorities, and Sandra will play a vital role in preparing our associates for their professional futures in real estate.”
Summer-Parks began her real estate career nearly 30 years ago in Washington State. In 1998, she joined Houlihan Lawrence in Irvington/Tarrytown before joining the company’s Bronxville office in 2002. In 2004, Summer-Parks joined Prudential Rand as Branch Manager of the Yonkers office.
A member of the National Association of Realtors, New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR), Bronx Multiple Listing Service and Westchester County Board of Realtors, Summer-Parks is also a Graduate of Realtor Institute, a Graduate of Instructors Training Institute and a Graduate of Master Sales Academy.
In addition to her real estate career, Summer-Parks is active in church music and vocal chamber music and participates in the music program at St. Barnabas in Irvington, where she also directs the children’s choir. Summer-Parks can sing in nine different languages and is the author of a children’s song and multi-curricular textbook.
