Yonkers, NY – NAI Friedland Realty, a full service commercial real estate firm serving metropolitan New York, announced that its Industrial and Retail divisions closed nine Westchester and Bronx lease and sale transactions in May 2009.
The combined deals represent close to 200,000 square feet of space and vary in size from 1,100 to 144,000 square feet. NAI Friedland Realty has been an industry leader for nearly 40 years.
The Industrial team completed five transactions:
* Sale of 144,000 sq. ft. at 1080 Leggett Avenue, Bronx, for $20,000,000. Steve Kornspun brokered the deal between Manhattan Beer Distributors (landlord) and Simon Bergson (tenant).
* Lease of 6,000 sq. ft. at 44 Pleasant Street, New Rochelle, for $47,700. Peter Cokin brokered the deal between Woodraska Roofing (landlord) and Mastercraft Masonry, Inc. (tenant).
* Lease option for 19,673 sq. ft. at 931 Zerega Avenue, Bronx. Peter Cokin brokered the deal between Simone Development (landlord) and Solco Plumbing Supply, Inc. (tenant).
* Lease of 3,000 sq. ft. at 4612 Bradley Street, Bronx, for $25,200. Tony Lembeck brokered the deal between Bronx Westchester Tempering, Inc. (landlord) and Lenny Maivolo (tenant).
* Lease of 2,850 sq. ft. at 389 E. 3rd Street, Mt. Vernon, for $38,400. Jeff Clinton brokered the deal between Donal Daly from Seven Nation LLC (landlord) and Spencer Joly from NYOR Holdings (tenant).
The Retail team completed four transactions:
* Sale of 7,500 sq. ft. at 20 Larkin Plaza, Yonkers, for $1,600,000. Robin Herko and Steve Lorenzo brokered the deal between MSD&D Real Estate (landlord) and Nick Sprayregen (tenant).
* Lease of 7,000 sq. ft. at 1 Fordham Plaza, Bronx. Kathy Zamechansky brokered the deal between Fordham Renaissance Management Partnership (landlord) and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar (tenant).
* Lease of 2,700 sq. ft. at 175 Main Street, Mt. Kisco. Joan Simon brokered the deal between Ramric Development Corp. (landlord) and Arthur Murray Dance Studio (tenant).
* Lease of 1,100 sq. ft. at 78 N State Street, Briarcliff, for $132,000. Joan Simon brokered the deal between Lordae Property Management (landlord) and The Beekman Group (tenant).
