 White Plains, NY - Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. is pleased to announce that Laura Rittenberg has joined the corporate headquarters in Danbury, Conn. as Vice President of Support Services.
She is responsible for driving the mortgage and title insurance portions of the business as well as overseeing the operations of the corporate and sales offices. Rittenberg reports directly to company President and COO, Kate Rossi.
“This new position demands someone with a vast background in all aspects of the real estate industry,” Rossi said. “With more than a decade of experience, Laura’s expertise will bring a new dimension to the company’s ability to better serve agents and clients.”
Previously, Rittenberg served as the General Sales Manager and Senior Vice President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Long Island and Queens. In this role, she was responsible for the sales operations of 19 offices and more than 1,200 sales associates.
Rittenberg began her career in real estate in 1982 in Southeastern Idaho. She has owned and operated two independent real estate companies, a mortgage company, a real estate licensing school, and managed sales offices for two national franchises. In 2000, Rittenberg sold her Denver-based company to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado and joined the company’s executive team.
She has been actively involved in the real estate community, having served in Colorado as a State Director and President of the local Association of Realtors and in Long Island, N.Y. as a committee member of the local Association of Realtors.
