 The Yonkers Veterans Administration Community Clinic is holding a Health Fair on October 23 from 10am-3pm. It is located at 124 New Main Street near Getty Square in Yonkers. Currently enrolled veterans as well as veterans interested in receiving health care from the VA are invited, as well as your family or friends.
The clinic will be offering flu shots for veterans as well as smoking cessation help, counselors for PTSD and Iraq veterans, social workers and community services such as para-transit, Medicaid, food stamps and office of the aging.
Veterans enrolled in VA health care have access to the largest network of primary care doctors and specialists in the United States, low cost prescriptions, mental health care as well as free hearing aids and eyeglasses for many patients.
