White Plains, NY - “The Elephant in the Room: Talking to Your Teen about Drugs and Alcohol and Resources for Help” is the subject of a community education program on Wednesday evening, November 12th at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Westchester Division, 21 Bloomingdale Road, White Plains.
The program, part of a continuing series on mental health issues, will be held from 7:00-8:30 P.M. in the Hospital’s Center Building, Auditorium.
The program will be presented by Catherine Bookless, LCSW and Jon Haber, CASAC, members of our hospital’s professional staff. They will lead a discussion on ways to talk to your teen about drugs and alcohol and offer information on available services for help. A question and answer session will follow.
The program is open at no charge to all interested members of the community. Pre-registration is not required and free parking is available. For further information, please call (914) 997-5779.
