Fareri Hospital Appoints New SVP For Administration |

Valhalla, NY - Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, the only all-specialty children’s hospital in New York’s Hudson Valley region and Fairfield County, Connecticut, has strengthened its senior administrative team with the addition of Gerard Villucci as Senior Vice President for Administration.
Mr. Villucci arrives at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center with an extensive and successful background in hospital administration. Most recently, Mr. Villucci spent more than six years at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in Bronx, New York, where as Senior Vice President of Operations, he was responsible for patient and hospital ancillary and support services as well as ambulatory care, marketing and strategic initiatives. During his career, Mr. Villucci also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the Catholic Health Care System and Providence Health Services. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
In his new role at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, Mr. Villucci will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including financial and administrative duties and serve as a senior member of the Medical Center’s leadership team. Using his extensive experience in the healthcare field, Mr. Villucci will partner with Medical, Nursing, and Support Staffs to advance the mission of the Children’s Hospital, which is based on Maria Fareri’s wish: “For the health and well being of all the children in the world.”
A graduate of Fordham University and Iona College, Mr. Villucci resides in Thornwood, New York, with his wife, Grace and their four sons.
