White Plains, NY - Westchester County has teamed up again with the New York Blood Center’s Hudson Valley Blood Services to sponsor a blood drive on July 20.

The blood drive is being coordinated by the county’s Department of Emergency Services. It will take place at the department’s headquarters, 4 Dana Road, Valhalla,  from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Anyone between the ages of 16 and 76, weighing at least 110 pounds, is eligible.

The public is encouraged to donate blood to ease the persistently low supply of whole blood and platelets. Double red blood cells will be collected as well as regular units of blood.

It's a bit confusing that you are showing the Red Cross symbol for a blood drive by Hudson Valley Blood Services, a division of New York Blood Center, and not affiliated in any way with the American Red Cross.
