White Plains, NY - Sound Shore residents will once again have the chance to meet with their elected representatives, Assemblyman George Latimer and County Legislator Judy Myers, in June - over a cup of coffee at a local restaurant.
Latimer and Myers, who have hosted joint District Office Hours regularly over the past four years, will be holding their next session in Rye on Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at On The Way Cafe, located on Forest Avenue at Playland Parkway. They will meet later in the day in Mamaroneck at The Nautilus Diner on W. Boston Post Road at Richbell Rd. from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Residents interested in talking about State and County issues can stop by for a cup of coffee (breakfast is on your own!) with George and Judy; literature on state and county programs and services will be available at no cost. No appointment - or reservation - is required.
Both officials will continue joint Saturday Office Hours in the communities of Rye, Larchmont and Mamaroneck, through the year. Assemblyman Latimer holds similar sessions in Port Chester with County Legislator Martin Rogowsky and in New Rochelle with County Legislator Vito Pinto.
For more information about the event, contact Assemblyman Latimer at 777-3832 or Legislator Myers at 995-2802.
