Valhalla, NY - The second show of a three-part series, “Comic Note Zone,” features the “Official Blues Brothers Revival” (In Association with the John Belushi Estate).
This most authentic tribute concert will be performed on Saturday, January 26, at 8:00 pm in the Academic Arts Theatre on the Valhalla Campus at the Westchester Community College (WCC).
This All New Estate Sanctioned tribute concert is the best ever tribute concert to hit the stage. The musical captures the spirit of the original movie and pays homage to Chicago’s rich history of blues, gospel and traditional soul music while throwing in “Jake and Elwood Blues” into the mix. It is “upbeat, uplifting… infectious with unbridled energy… blows the roof off.” (Chicago Sun Times)
This live stage musical combines the hits from the original movie as well as the five popular albums put out by John Belushi and Dan Akroyd. The musical is presented by the John Belushi Estate and Judy Belushi Pisano. The Toronto Star comments…”equal parts hilarious, heroic and heartfelt.”
The third show in the three performance, “Comic Note Zone,” features “3 Redneck Tenors” scheduled on Saturday, March 1 at 8:00 pm in the Academic Arts Theatre.
Single tickets for “The Official Blues Brothers Revival” and “3 Redneck Tenors” are $20 (general admission), $17 (for students/ seniors) $12 (for children under 13)
