 Purchase, NY - Purchase College presents a marathon celebration of William Shakespeare’s 444th birthday with 24 Hours of the Bard, beginning at 5 PM April 25 and continuing uninterrupted to 5 PM April 26.
The festival will be held in the Humanities Theatre of the Durst Family Humanities Building.
The daylong birthday celebration includes live performances of scenes, sonnets and soliloquies new and old, readings, screenings of films, visual arts, music, food and drink, all inspired by the illustrious playwright.
All events are free of charge and open to the public. Members of the audience are welcome to participate with their own live performances.
