Westchester Entertainment NewsPeekskill, NY - Broadway stars Cris Groenendaal, Kevin Gray and Craig Schulman have all starred in the title role of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s "The Phantom of the Opera".  They will be performing in “Three Phantoms In Concert” onstage at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill on Saturday, November 8 at 8pm.

This internationally-traveled concert brings together three extraordinary tenors for an incredible evening of song.  They sing solos, duets and trios, all from the Broadway male repertoire as well as hits from the shows that made them the stars they are today.  Featured numbers will include songs from Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Sweeney Todd, Jekyll and Hyde, Damn Yankees, and of course, The Phantom of the Opera.

The accomplished gentlemen in “Three Phantoms in Concert” have collectively worn the mask of the Phantom nearly three thousand times over a 10-year period and each brings an average of over 20 years of Broadway experience to the stage as well as numerous regional roles, TV roles and opera.

Craig Schulman, producer of the “Three Phantoms in Concert” is a long-time resident of Yorktown and the only actor in the world to have portrayed three of the most extraordinary musical theatre roles ever written: Jekyll & Hyde, The Phantom of the Opera, and Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, with a world record of nearly 2,000 performances of Valjean on Broadway and around the world.  Mr. Schulman is also the producer and creator of the Broadway Nights Concert series as well as solo concert programs entitled “Craig Schulman on Broadway” and “Heroes, Monsters and Madmen”.

Kevin Gray is a versatile performer and was the youngest actor to play the title role of Phantom.  He has also played Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Thomas Andrews in Titanic, The King in the King and I, Ravenal in Showboat and the Engineer in Miss Saigon, where he won the Dora Mavor Moore (Toronto Company).

Cris Groenendaal originated the role of Mssr. Andre in the Broadway Production of Phantom of the Opera and went on to play the role of the Phantom for 860 performances.  His Broadway credits include Anthony Hope in Sweeney Todd, the role of George in Sunday in the Park with George, Major Rizzolli in Passion and Milés Gloriosus in the 1996 revival of A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.

One of the many highlights of the evening will be when the ‘Three Phantoms in Concert’ join in an unforgettable trio and pay tribute to the “Music of the Night”.

Tickets: $68, $58 and $48.  The Paramount Center for the Arts is located at 1008 Brown Street in Peekskill, New York.  For tickets and information call 877 840-0457 or visit www.paramountcenter.org or www.3phantomsinconcert.com.
