Purchase, NY - Pete Malinverni will headline the SummerPiano concert at Purchase College on July 7 at 7:30 PM in the Recital Hall of the Music Building.

The evening of jazz is billed as “Pete Malinverni and Friends” and will include noted jazz performers on the faculty of the Purchase Conservatory of Music and outstanding students. 

Malinverni is a respected pianist on the local and national club scene and a concert performer here and abroad.  He teaches jazz piano at Purchase College where he also leads the college’s Soul Voices Gospel Ensemble.  He also serves as music director of the Devoe Street Baptist Church in Brooklyn.  He has released Joyful a CD/DVD of a live concert of his gospel/jazz compositions and the critically acclaimed Invisible Cities.
