All performances are at Woodward Hall Theatre, Pace University, 235 Elm Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY.

These programs made possible with funds from the Westchester Arts Council, and through the generosity of Pace University.

In its ten years, Hudson Stage has grown from a vision of producing new plays that originated with the popular staged reading series at the Croton Free Library. Its first productions were hosted at the ClearView School in Briarcliff Manor, until its move in 2005 to become artists-in-residence at Pace University. Now housed on the Briarcliff campus in Woodward Hall Theatre, an adapted lecture hall whose intimate 130-seat capacity and excellent sight lines and acoustics lends itself perfectly to the needs of the company. Producers and co-founders Denise Bessette, Dan Foster and Olivia Sklar are thrilled to witness their 10th season opening. “In today's financial climate, we know we have a lot to offer: Terrific professional work, less than 30 minutes from anywhere in the county, with a top ticket price of $30, great area restaurants, free parking, and the babysitter doesn't have to be on the clock as long as the trip to NYC would take.

Our mission has never wavered from when we first committed to producing new plays that were exciting, provocative, and affordable, using the finest professional talent in the NY/Westchester area. We always knew we would find our audience, and they would find us. People now come from across the entire county and beyond. There have been many challenges and growing pains, but the collaboration is always rewarding and there is still tremendous artistic potential. We are excited about the voices that are yet to be discovered out there.” Participating artists have included Blythe Danner, Jill Clayburgh, Austin Pendleton, John Rubinstein,  and Matthew Arkin.

If you haven't discovered Hudson Stage yet, this is the perfect opportunity.
