Scarsdale, NY - The Hoff-Barthelson Music School is pleased to present pianist Glen Kirchoff in an all-Bach program on Friday, January 25, 8 pm on the HB Artist Series. The recital will be held at the Hoff-Barthelson Music School, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale, New York.
Harpsichordist and pianist Glen Kirchoff has appeared in the United States and Europe, performing in recital and with chamber ensembles. He has a deep interest and involvement with instrument design; he has constructed several harpsichords and has restored many pianos. In addition to his position as a member of the Hoff-Barthelson piano faculty he is also the School’s piano consultant and maintains its more than three dozen pianos.
The all-Bach recital program, some of it arranged for piano, includes his Partita # 4, BWV 828; Nun komm’ der Heiden Heiland; Jesus bleibet meine Freude; Ich ruf zu Dir, Herr; Quia respixit humilitatem; Blithe Bells; and Praeludium.
