 Scarsdale, NY - Among the many programs for adults at Hoff-Barthelson Music School, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale, is Performers Showcase, an informal recital program at which professional and avocational musicians wishing to prepare for a recital, hone their performance skills, or simply play or sing in an informal setting may perform in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere before an audience of fellow musicians.
Soloists and chamber ensembles are welcome to perform, and performers are encouraged to invite guests to the free workshops.
The Hoff-Barthelson Music School, one of Westchester County’s most cherished and active cultural resources, has achieved national recognition as a premier community music school for its unsurpassed leadership in education, performance and outreach for more than half a century.
Performers Showcase, is scheduled on six Tuesday mornings throughout the fall, winter and spring. Performers Showcase dates for the 2009-2009 season are November 4, December 2, February 3, March 3, April 14 and May 5.
