PERFORMERS
Going back in time- Pine Bluff, Arkansas- early 1900's
Robert Hill (and band), award-winning Americana, singer/songwriter/ and accomplished slide guitarist, plays blues and roots music. His strong and empassioned vocals, his great stories, and his exceptional band, all unite into a set of pure entertainment and outstanding musicianship. He has opened for Levon Helm (The Band), John McEuen (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band), Kim Simmonds (Savoy Brown), The Tony Trischka Band, the late Rick Danko (The Band), Rory Block, and Debbie Davies, to name a few.
McMule is an acoustic string band based in New York's Hudson Valley. Pristine vocal harmonies and old-time instruments create a unique sound that combines folk, bluegrass, country blues, swing and more. Great vocals, fine musicianship and an eclectic repertoire. This is supreme picking, mando, OM, harmonica, guitar, bass, vocals, and resonator guitar, and their styles range from Blues, Folk, Rock, Celtic, and a little "Bayou" spice.
Robert & Band and McMule will be teaming up during the evening for (we’re sure) some memorable musical moments.
