Golden Apple Coffeehouse Bash Announced

Westchester Entertainment NewsMt. Kisco, NY - On Sat., June 7th, The Golden Apple Coffeehouse is holding its annual benefit and end-of-the-season bash, Wall to Wall 60’s and 70’s, a full evening of folk, folk rock, rock, blues, and Motown performed by over 30 musicians and singer/songwriters from the Hudson Valley.

This is a very unique evening with songs of Dylan, Beatles, Dead, America, Joni Mitchell, Wilson Pickett, CSNY, Turtles, Traffic, Peter Paul and Mary (and many more) performed in solos, duos, trios, choruses.  

Doors open at 6:00, and music goes from 6:30 to 10:30.  Tickets are $25, and include appetizers and light dinner, and (non-alcoholic) drinks.  Three pairs of tickets to the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival will be raffled off.  All proceeds go to fund the all-volunteer Coffeehouse’s next season.  Tickets go fast, so reservations should be made soon.  

The Coffeehouse is located in St. Mark’s beautiful parish hall, 85 E Main St., in the center of Mt. Kisco, 2 min. walk from the train, lots of ample free parking.  For directions and more information see www.goldenapplecoffeehouse.com

Since September of 2006, the Golden Apple Coffeehouse has provided a venue for some of the best acoustic music the Hudson Valley has to offer.  Over this past season the Coffeehouse will have presented nine monthly shows, featuring over 50 musicians.

When you buy a ticket, you’re buying a seat for the evening, and basically a dinner to go with the seat.  However, there is a lot of music over the evening, so tickets are transferable to a friend or family member, or for someone waiting at the door.
